I am doing FANTASTIC. I am working hard and being the best missionary
I can be. I haven't had much time to do research since Temple And
Research has been canceled since we have had the new companionship
rule. President has decided to postpone it, which I don't get, but he
is called of god to be my mission leader and to lead the mission and
we need to listen to him and obey all of the mission rules to be
blessed, and to have power over the adversary.
Alma 12:9-11 9 And now Alma began to expound these things unto him, saying: It is given unto many to a the b of God; nevertheless they are laid under a strict command that they shall not impart c according to the portion of his word which he doth grant unto the children of men, according to the heed and diligence which they give unto him.
10 And therefore, he that will a his heart, the same receiveth the b portion of the word; and he that will c harden his heart, to him is d the greater portion of the word, until it is given unto him to know the mysteries of God until he know them in full.
11 And they that will harden their hearts, to them is given the lesser a of the word until they b concerning his mysteries; and then they are taken captive by the devil, and led by his will down to destruction. Now this is what is meant by the c of d.
D&C 29:29-36
"29 And now, behold, I say unto you, never at any time have I declared
from mine own mouth that they should return, for where I am they
cannot come, for they have no power.
30 But remember that all my judgments are not given unto men; and as
the words have gone forth out of my mouth even so shall they be
fulfilled, that the first shall be last, and that the last shall be
first in all things whatsoever I have created by the word of my power,
which is the power of my spirit.
31 For by the power of my Spirit created I them; yea, all things both
spiritual and temporal—
32 first spiritual, secondly temporal, which is the beginning of my
work; and again, first temporal, and secondly spiritual, which is the
last of my work—
33 speaking unto you that you may naturally understand; but unto
myself my works have no bend, neither beginning; but it is given unto
you that ye may understand, because ye have asked it of me and are
agreed.
34 Wherefore, verily I say unto you that all things unto me are
spiritual, and not at any time have I given unto you a law which was
temporal; neither any man, nor the children of men; neither Adam, your
father, whom I created.
35 Behold, I gave unto him that he should be an agent unto himself;
and I gave unto him commandment, but no temporal commandment gave I
unto him, for my commandments are spiritual; they are not natural nor
temporal, neither carnal nor sensual.
36 And it came to pass that Adam, being tempted of the devil—for,
behold, the devil was before Adam, for he rebelled against me, saying,
Give me thine Honor, which is my power; and also a third part of the
hosts of heaven turned he away from me because of their agency;" I know that I am doing what is right and I am going to finish what I
started. I Love where I work and I love serving at the Granite
Mountain Records Vault. I am working hard to be the best missionary I
can be. I know that the Church is true. I know that Thomas S Monson is
the Living prophet today, and that he is called of god. I know that I
am called to this mission to serve the Lord and that is where I am
staying until my two years are up.
